What is the best time to visit Ireland? Is it a copout to say all the time?? You will never find a bad time to visit Ireland. Flying to Ireland for a visit is always a good idea. According to my Irish husband, you want to go in April or September.
Visit Ireland in April or September and you will…
- Skip the tourist crowds
- Enjoy the sunshine and gorgeous sun showers!
- Skip the rainy months and have a better chance of lots of sunshine!
I know that right now COVID makes any kind of travel difficult or impossible. Just remember, that will change! You will get your chance to fly to the Emerald Isle and experience all Ireland has to offer. When I first met my Irish husband I knew Ireland was beautiful but I did NOT want to move there.
“I will never move to Ireland, so if you want to live there, don’t date me.” Seven years ago I told my husband (then best friend), that I would never live in Ireland. My advice is “never say never!” Isn’t it funny how the things we never think we will do, we end up doing!
Here I am, almost 10 years later and we are preparing for our move to Ireland. I have always had a deep desire to see the world, and it turns out I might just get my dream.
There are so many places to see, things to experience, and moments to savor. I’m so excited to give the gift of travel to my children, and to experience many new things together, the good, the bad, and the ugly!
You might not have the chance to move to a foreign country, or even have the desire too, but I hope you travel along with us!
